Parents and guardians play a vital role in the success of Little Friends and in the creation of a healthy, nurturing learning environment and social community. All parents, guardians and caregivers involved with the preschool are expected to:
- Contribute to a positive atmosphere by modeling respect, and by showing consideration towards the children, staff, families and volunteers.
- Address concerns with the appropriate person/people, whether it be the teacher, member(s) of the Board of Directors, or other parents.
- Abide by the Student Conduct Policy and Parent-Board Communication protocol outlined in the Handbook.
- Fulfill the responsibilities they have committed to in becoming a member of Little Friends Nursery Centre Society. These expectations include fulfillment of one volunteer position per enrolled child, and fulfillment of one casino shift per enrolled child for those years that Little Friends is awarded a casino. Failure to fulfill these expectations will result in monetary consequences.
Please be aware that Little Friends reserves the right to cancel registration if a parent, guardian, or caregiver is unwilling to meet these expectations.
**The parties acknowledge and agree that electronic signatures shall be deemed the legal equivalent of handwritten signatures and shall carry the same binding legal effect as a manually signed hard copy of this document
