Little Friends Preschool is a non-profit, parent cooperative preschool for children ages 19 months to five years and is located in Edmonton’s Crestwood neighbourhood. Our preschool offers three morning programs staffed by four experienced, caring and highly-qualified teachers and educational assistants.
We are located in the Christian Education Wing of St. Andrew’s United Church at 9915 148 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
Toddler Room runs Tuesday through Friday mornings from 9:05 to 11:25 a.m.
Playroom runs Tuesday & Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Playschool runs Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Important information regarding registration for the 2025-2026 school year
Registration for the 2025-2026 school year opens at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 1st for CURRENT families, and at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 8th for NEW families. Please note that registrations submitted before 9:00 am will not be accepted, and that the $75 registration fee is non- refundable. Please see our Policy & Procedures Handbook for registration priority and details.
TODDLER ROOM: Children must be 19 months (before September 1st, 2025) – 3 years of age. All children must be walking and able to go up and down on stairs independently (holding only the rail for assistance). Children may be enrolled one or two mornings per week. Any child in the process of toilet training must wear pull-ups/diapers while attending class.
PLAYROOM: Children must be 3 years of age on or before December 31st, 2025. The Playroom program runs Tuesday/Thursday mornings. Any child in the process of toilet training must wear pull-ups/diapers while attending class.
PLAYSCHOOL: Children must be 4 years of age on or before December 31st, 2025. The Playschool program runs Monday/Wednesday/Friday mornings. All children must be potty trained to attend.
This years AGM will take place on Wednesday, June 11th @ 7:30pm. Please note attendance is mandatory for 2025-26 families with completed forms/cheques – failure to submit forms/cheques will result in the loss of your child’s spot and the next family on the waitlist will be contacted. In addition to submitting your forms/cheques to secure your spot, you will be required to sign up for one volunteer duty, one toy wash date, and one Casino shift. Failure to comply with these obligations will result in the cashing of your duty bond and/or casino bond cheques.
