In an effort to improve communication between parents and the Little Friends Board, we are planning to set up a group messaging system. This system will be used for emergency alerts such as unexpected school closures and other timely communication.
Your Consent
By signing this consent form, you agree to:
- Allow your phone number to be included in the group message system (eg. WhatsApp, Team Snap, iMessage or another board approved messaging system) for communication purposes related to your child’s class.
- The purpose of this communication is for emergency situations when timely communication between the Little Friends Board, teachers and parents is crucial. Replying to messages in this group is permitted, however, please be aware that some replies may not receive a response and any non-emergent concerns should still be directed to the school.
- Acknowledge that group messages will be visible to all group members (teachers and parents).
- Understand that you can opt-out of the group message at any time by notifying the preschool.
Opting Out
If you prefer not to participate in the group message, please let us know in advance. We will ensure that you continue to receive all important information via other means (e.g., email, paper notices, individual text).
**The parties acknowledge and agree that electronic signatures shall be deemed the legal equivalent of handwritten signatures and shall carry the same binding legal effect as a manually signed hard copy of this document
